You.

When I'm without you,
I find it's a bit harder to breathe.

But it's not too soon,
To fix the way you've made me.

But it's funny because even now,
I feel bad for bleeding on your shirt.

Even as you beat me I somehow,
Just smile at you and ignore the hurt.

You, the man who brought me to my knees,
You, the man I live and bleed for.

You make me feel way too weak,
You make me feel like I'm not worth more.

Gosh, I'm an idiot aren't I?
Why can't I just walk away?

Not sure why I keep trying to deny,
All the bruises you give and cruel words you say.

Maybe it's because I am young,
And very much in love with you.

But now I'm in my closet hung,
For reasons everybody knew.

The belt is oddly comforting,
The leather around my neck feels like your hands.

You, who made me feel like a nothing,
You, you won't get another chance.

My foot slips off the stool,
And I feel the belt jerk me in air.

I was always such a love struck fool,
But now I just have an empty stare.

You, the man who killed me.
You, the man who left me hanging.

You, the man who just wouldn't see,
The type of fire he was fanning.
