Out There Sneakin'

 
Not sure why when I spun the wheel
Picking my list of tunes and female artists
I kept landing on that year
Or why so many songs from that time
Spoke to me
 
Then again when I was a young man
I was lured by these tracks
These dances
These videos
(Considered a little risque at the time)
But I know many of us had it for Paula
 
What I didn’t know later on I too would be out there
Sneakin’
Sowing  
Not really understanding how it would affect me
I thought it was all for fun
Until some consequences caught up
 
That’s the funny thing  
When an old man recollects
On days of youth
Believing that those days would last forever
Now they just feel one play button away
Nestled in the deepest recesses of our minds…
