Raven's Eye
"Raven's Eye"
'Pon shoulder perched twas the raven
Wings carry me to my darkside haven
His eye was pierced by the midnight
Evening hanging beneath moonlight
What would be born unto onyx skies?
It was my dark side that would arise
Lacing this soul with his infinite twilight
Both ends of darkness burning white
His wings swift flight to bury the dawn
Shrouded clouds in feathered chiffon
Under heavy shade lurching shadows
Whom promise escape in death's throes
Billowing breeze bustling into dreams
Silence stinging as a jaguar's scream
Flight of fears cresting from my chest
Twas glowing daylight I would detest
Beasts alive nestled 'tween night's fall
It brings alive a lifetime of void & null
Now I see the world in the Raven's eye
It does knot threat of vicious hate & lies
His plume shelters in embered embrace
I cave into a slumber filled in light grace
Awake yet fuzzy, looming through heights
Grappled the chance of cheating last rites
Soaring soul engulfed closing the horizon
I come unto manga tar pit nights be rising
Raven's eye seduced with hypnotic lull
I give into the resistance of magnetic pull
I give thee life, if so does call upon heart
Dead bouquet's blooming misery departs
Affair with darkness becomes from within
I bare no confession, resistant skin of sin
