Missed Calls

Wish that it could be kumbaya
Instead everyday it's bomaye
"What'd you say?", is the bark
Before some steel starts to spark

Then lights turn dark at sunsets
As spirits ascend like fighter jets
Often over sets; sometimes not
Read the scripts; discern the plot

When red dots beam, teams fumble balls
Truancy from classes as asses roam halls
Many fall before the call to stand for something
Occupancies at cemeteries filled all over nothing
