Unlikely forcast
To open my eyes
See the snow that falls all over me
The earth is frozen still as snow falls from cloudy skies
Roads are dangerous and still full of mystery
The tree's are still
Hard as stone like the ice that covers the sea
People traveling about just for the thrill
Yet this day will end in tragedy
Collisions are only a decision away
The air is crisp and dry
Not all of us will be alive at the end of the day
As the wind began like a drum to a battle cry
The fear that sweeps across many like destiny
Caution is the skill of the day
Worries and thoughts screaming inside of me
A unexpected storm continues on like a play
Halting plans because of the weather
There is always tomorrow
As each snow flake falls differently like a bird feather
None of us though have too much time to borrow
Closing my eyes only to open them again
Burning from fatigue that plagues me like so
Maybe it will stop tonight by ten
Observations and ideas that continue to flow
See the snow that falls all over me
The earth is frozen still as snow falls from cloudy skies
Roads are dangerous and still full of mystery
The tree's are still
Hard as stone like the ice that covers the sea
People traveling about just for the thrill
Yet this day will end in tragedy
Collisions are only a decision away
The air is crisp and dry
Not all of us will be alive at the end of the day
As the wind began like a drum to a battle cry
The fear that sweeps across many like destiny
Caution is the skill of the day
Worries and thoughts screaming inside of me
A unexpected storm continues on like a play
Halting plans because of the weather
There is always tomorrow
As each snow flake falls differently like a bird feather
None of us though have too much time to borrow
Closing my eyes only to open them again
Burning from fatigue that plagues me like so
Maybe it will stop tonight by ten
