We don’t talk anymore
I used to talk to you every day,
Now we don’t even talk anymore,
We just stare at each other,
Look at each other through a phone,
I just want you to be happy,
Please tell me,
Are you okay?
Are you drowning?
What’s wrong?
You don’t text me back,
I don’t want to date you,
I want you alive,
Breathe for me,
Don’t disappear on me,
Where’s that beautiful smile?
Where’s that laugh?
Where are you?
Please be okay on the inside,
Talk to me,
Someone.
That’s all I want.
Now we don’t even talk anymore,
We just stare at each other,
Look at each other through a phone,
I just want you to be happy,
Please tell me,
Are you okay?
Are you drowning?
What’s wrong?
You don’t text me back,
I don’t want to date you,
I want you alive,
Breathe for me,
Don’t disappear on me,
Where’s that beautiful smile?
Where’s that laugh?
Where are you?
Please be okay on the inside,
Talk to me,
Someone.
That’s all I want.
