The feeling
Arises
That everyone
Knows,

Only you
Are still
Stuck
In your dream.

What was
The meaning
Of every new
Nuance,

Is there
Nothing
That's just
As it seems?

You try
To awaken
And shake
Slowly to fury,

But
The fingers
Can't feel
All the same.

And every
Occassion
They smile
In their knowing,

While
Nodding
But avoiding
The game.

It's only
You
Who can't
See the future

Unfolding
Its
Darkness
Despaired,

That all
Of this time
She was merely
A madness,

And,
In fact,
She was never
Quite there.
