POEM INSPIRED BY 'A MOTHER'S HAPPY CRIES'
A mother's happy cries
as under her he lies,
taking satisfaction
from their bedroom action,
while child in the next room
who issued from her womb
is happily talking
to dolls she likes playing.
Everybody's happy -
girl, mother and chappie -
last two recreating
the girl's procreating
better than the father
who after birth left her.
