Who am i?
a question
seeking self made
prophecy
from an
oracle
lacking
second sight
a window to look out in deep thought...
then
run crying from what you see
ive fought my battles. won my wars. and found the strength in weakness
the strongest warrior is he who can throw down his sword...
but
as much
as i
have found
so much
more
have
i
lost
an intake of breath
as i step
into the
frost
and ice
where i
once knew
warmth
to be
ive looked into
the mirror
and hated
what ive seen
i didnt recognize
the person
looking back at me
ive loved like i will never feel pain
and found myself with blood on my hands
standing in the rain
that fell from my eyes
and filled my broken heart
with hate and isolation
and created nothing more
then a hopeless mouth to feed
a head held limp
snapped by the hands of love
ive looked into my window and found dull grey nothing
ive looked into my window and found elaborate colorful everything
who am i?
i am me
