Capturing

Of anticipation -
Elation,
Filtered and muted
As the
Operation is executed
Adeptly:
To reach forth
For
A
Moment
of
Eternity...

This reminds me when I was in middle school and going to the
city pool in our town.
There was a low diving board and a very very high diving board - I am terrified of heights.
To the point of getting vertigo.
I finally got the nerve to get up there.
Talk about walking the plank.
I walked back and forth. Took me forever - to the point of going back to the ladder to climb back down.
but my friends were already waiting on the ladder to go next so I couldn't go back down.
Ughh - Even typing this - I'm having a flashback.
Even the lifeguards were yelling- just go - it will be fine. We're right here!!
So I sat down on the board and skootched off. hahahah - totally lame - but I did it.

That picture with this poem totally took me there.
So thanks for the mini nervous breakdown. hahahah
