The glitz
Of Los Vegas
And the sequins
Of Arabia
Hide nothing
In the open eyes
Of hope
And desire.
There dwells
A globe
Of every
Substance
But all
Of it is ice
In eyes
Of fire.

A thing the pandemic has done is to create a quantum perspective change.
Some people are on a retail shopping spree, and everyone around them is invisible on the way to the pleasures they want to procure.
Others are so preoccupied with seeing emotional intimacy that the retail world only exists in the categories of existential practicality. For some of them, a subgroup, they see gurus, lovers, soul mates, past life paramours, and enlightened connections only.
Recently, a very close friend video called me at 6 A.M., and had Sadhguru on tv in London. When his interview was over, she wrote me....He's in London!
I have these kinds of experiences all the time. My closest friends know that I am compersion drunk. I love love love to see anyone totally excited and enjoying anything. Neil Tyson on Star Talk...cracks me up.
I follow and write to and for many yoga teachers, contortionists, artists, dancers. Their enthusiasm wakes me every day.
But.. looking into the eyes, directly, of someone who is connecting with life....is being plugged into the mainframe.
Surprise, wonder, satisfaction, curiosity, indulgence, ingenuity....desire at any level... brings out my best. "Excitement breeds a crowd."
