They said the moon was every surface full
of light, no deep shadows behind rocks
yet an astronaut insists the moon is jam-packed
of folks living in underground cities having hilarious
time hiding from invaders who explore trying
to find life on the moon, a world parallel to the earth.
Invaders in funny suits, stealing rock to take
back to earth to see if there is anything worthy
to exploit.
 The cave dwellers shake their heads the sick rocks
that destroyed the moon landscape, they take back
to the earth, what madness!
