A Shoe Appeal

Never ever a shoe aficionado
but could be inclined to change
with some heated moments
back home on the range

The need to have a pair in all colors
strikes me as indulgent and overdone
a little attitude in a lady’s walk
is the prelude to some fun

The other accents influencing
my disposition to a shopping trip
say she wants to seduction quickly
and that heel easy to grip

True that shoes can compliment
jeans, a short skirt, or a slit dress
plead guilty all the time to
holding erotic thoughts leading to a mess

In this word when some gents
have problems with the word “no”
there is comfort with a sharp heel
a woman knows where she can go

So I can accept a trek shoe shopping
with a woman who has my heart
as part of the climate for our intimacies
and that walk that is truly art
