Consecration
Lithe lines drawn in elegance,
The opacity of the window,
Her curvature conjures the shape
Of questioning - arcing into questing,
As light escapes her ultraviolet eyes,
Billowing gracefully into settlements
Of grey, layered with cryptic viscosities -
As I stand in a reverse spiral of enlightenment,
Unraveled like astral travel, transcribed
In a language of marvel,
Architected in the impossible, in arcs of angels
Fallen into a sum of conundrum.
This place, it is a temple and I am
Rendered faceless in the presence of divinity.
I am rendered into windows - inside
Of windows, reaching out – reaching in,
Returning to the vision.
As the enigma of her essence
Stains the window
In a consecration of stained glass
In an impression
That shall
Last.
