The War Has Broken

The war has broken
For whatever reason
May be political gain
Or for power in the region
But finally, the war has broken  ll 1 ll

Few soldiers will die on field
Few mother's heart will  bleed
Few lady's life will get shattered
Some kids will get orphaned
Father will lose his last hope
Few will lose their brother
Some will lose their,
Brave and dear Friend.                ll 2 II

Soldiers never hated anyone,
Like a barbarous terrorist.
They never killed innocents,
Like a psychopath militants
They just loved their country,
Far more than their own life.
They never bore grudges,
Even for their counterparts       || 3 ||

Yet they fought for their country
For safety of their country clan
Just to protect their country
and their country's pride.
Many will die just for the order
They won't even know  
why they are fighting for             || 4 ||

War will end one day for sure
Leaders will shed few tears
Revere their soldier's bravery
Display their fighting gears
Winner will rejoice victory
Hail their chivalry, for they faught,
Losers will debate for reasons
Why their country lost ?             || 5 ||

'Last Post' will be played
In honour of fallen soldiers
Prayers for rest in peace
After few days country too
Is bound to sleep in peace.
Kith and kin will fire candles
On the day of martyrdom           || 6 ||

But tears will never dry
In that soldier's happy home
For mother's lost their child
A father who lost his hope.
A lady's life was shattered and
Those kids who were orphaned   || 7 ||
