Immortal Beloved
“Immortal Beloved”
By
Bruce Jason Creech
When times clutched hand I find
Has laid siege lays siege upon my mortal soul
Still thy immortal stare shall keep in me a memory kind
When those once young no longer grow old
When in iron chains this tortured soul can no longer hold
A seasons memory sweet with the scent of thee
Then I shall welcome another night left cold
Till I find it less strange to believe
When the last leaves of autumn fall
Like golden peddles each moment I have counted
Ife then loves candle doeth still burn at all
Then correctly this love has been surmounted
