The struggle is real - the withdrawal to introvert a seemingly safe haven; but it really is not. Without other voices the anxiety and depression are all you hear.

I really appreciated the irony within the poem. Desperate to be heard, internal voice silenced. I think this write has touched many nerves for me in trying to find a comfortable place within myself whereby it’s okay to say something without fear of not being loved or heard. Amazing piece. H🌷

this happens a lot
in that movie, finding nemo,
That fish is tied to a poisonous coral
for protection. The head honcho fish grows larger,
while everybody else stays stunted.
If the big fish dies or leaves the coral plant,
then one of the other fish steps up and grows larger.
