I remember her

I remember her
and her simple day-to-day life.
A crisis was bickering with friends
or jealousy over boys we’d never touched.

Still, I wouldn’t trade the person I am now for the girl I was then.

Author's Note
Another poem by my daughter, shared with her blessings. I feel a little sad to watch her deal with adult problems, but I'm also pleased that she embraces change.
