If I had 3 wishes
I would ask that
our mutual love
might find a safe and happy place
To play
I would wish for peace
Within our hearts and for the ones we love
I would hope
The missing piece
Could be forever found and fit
within the gaping holes of loneliness
To be a home
Safe haven for our battered hearts.
