The Beauty of it All

To dedicate your entire life to beauty
You must first fall in love with evil itself
Dance with madness at midnight
Love the demon and the angel alike
Kiss the mistakes til� they are faultless
Honor the rightful place of indispensable wrongs
Sacrifice malignant delinquencies
Burn the angels of whom take away the balance of good and evil
Let mistakes guide your path through life
Find the beauty buried deep beneath the skin of what many perceive to be ugly
Learn to look for a light in the darkness
And now you see the beauty of it all.

Author's Note

I had to write this for a school assignment lol.. It's pretty bad though. The poem is supposed to be about how we need to be grateful for everything that is bad, because if there wasn't any bad then how would we know the good? Also please, I didn't know what else to write for my title...

I think this is an amazing poem. i also believe your authors comment distracts greatly from it, and does the poem, and yourself, an injustice. Sometimes the words we pen (or type) especially those that we form into poetry, really need no explanation, deserving through their merits to stand wholly upon their own.
