An Itch

A scratch
An itch on the inside
Clawing,slinking
Growling, hungrily feeding from the my body
I cry out in pain
Try to
Scratch
Scratch
Scratch
The itch out
But it grows, from my legs to my stomach
Then my arms,my face
My mind
Twitching I smile while you look at me with a fearful expression
Laughing when you shrink away for the itch grew into a rash

It gets worse and worse
Don't touch anyone you're infected with the disease
It twists your mind and images begin to blur
You're safe but the dark always waits to consume you
Some days closer than others
Shunning away all but a drink
You blink trying to separate image from imagination
Can't stand too weak
Head hurts can't think-think straight
Curling up in agony as the itch grows with intensity
Until you hear ringing in your ears

Words clouded your judgement, insecurity forced you to do this
