Thinking about ethnolinguistics...
And how the contexts of words are compared to one other
in order to determine the relationships between different languages.
For example...
Taking names of animals that live in certain habitats
to determine the geographic origin of a language.
Makes me think, however...
Of a theoretical time where animals had no names.
How might that be.
What would the interaction be like,
between you, were you to encounter an animal during a time such as this.
I feel like over time names become charged
with different energetic shapes of psychological expectation
that in many instances can be binding.
The implications of such a perspective
extend also to humanity.
And how the contexts of words are compared to one other
in order to determine the relationships between different languages.
