Like a Toy.

Place your terrors on this table,
let your fears climb high.
Keep your eyes along this level
and watch how I comply.

Give me your hands, your hopes and dreams.
Observe how I destroy them.
Watch your wishes swim through the shredder,
heart to race as I condemn.

Reaching for my hand,
gasping for a breath.
You're no longer required now
that you're on the brink of death.

little boy,  little boy,
how you broke me... like a toy.
