On the Verge of Twilight
Will I cease to be?
Searching for the rapturous light
But darkness is all I see.
Striving to set my spirit free
Wandering through this endless night.
Will I cease to be?
Staring out across this Stygian sea
My gaze upon the horizon, show me a sign of twilight.
But darkness is all I see.
Eyes ashen and glazed with ebony
Can I truly get through this blight?
Will I cease to be?
This carmine stigmata set to mark me
So I must fight through this fiery plight
But darkness is all I see.
Mark here! To make myself of pure morality
And let to shine upon me thy seraphic light.
Will I cease to be?
But darkness is all I see.
Searching for the rapturous light
But darkness is all I see.
Striving to set my spirit free
Wandering through this endless night.
Will I cease to be?
Staring out across this Stygian sea
My gaze upon the horizon, show me a sign of twilight.
But darkness is all I see.
Eyes ashen and glazed with ebony
Can I truly get through this blight?
Will I cease to be?
This carmine stigmata set to mark me
So I must fight through this fiery plight
But darkness is all I see.
Mark here! To make myself of pure morality
And let to shine upon me thy seraphic light.
Will I cease to be?
But darkness is all I see.
