On this journey we embark

Start
But nevertheless…
Dark -
Searching for the light
Internal
To
Light
The internal
In
Eternal
Or
Pieces of the eternal
To release
Into the eternal
Released
From the infernal
Of the
Internal.

Author's Note
I initially started writing this with the idea of the rings of a tree as a metaphor for the growth that comes about as we venture into the writing.
If that is there, and I think it is...
It is obscured by where it actually went...
But I like that.
And still want to articulate the tree metaphor.

Our internal processes are like tree rings. As we mature those rings from our youth remain, but the new rings of experience push them further out of our consciousness.
