Black Hole Burning
I write, reflecting on my deepest ache
Reflecting into you
-infinity reflection
As I walk into the woods, I find my pool of leaves
Maple reds, like I bleed
-and weep, and weep
Valediction in repose, the soft crunch of leaf crumble
Delicate, I crackle and shatter
-among their leaf corpses
My mouth opens wide, a black hole of endless keening
Harpy screams as my jaw detaches
-forever slack and open
The black threatens inverse, to flood out, rather than pull in
Turn the world with sorrow
-pirouette in sadness, my earth
My hateful eyes burn as my lurid quill takes flight
Imbued into my skin
-tatted eyes on eyelids
The world burns so I will smother it
With my lightlessness
-there be a storm coming
Reflecting into you
-infinity reflection
As I walk into the woods, I find my pool of leaves
Maple reds, like I bleed
-and weep, and weep
Valediction in repose, the soft crunch of leaf crumble
Delicate, I crackle and shatter
-among their leaf corpses
My mouth opens wide, a black hole of endless keening
Harpy screams as my jaw detaches
-forever slack and open
The black threatens inverse, to flood out, rather than pull in
Turn the world with sorrow
-pirouette in sadness, my earth
My hateful eyes burn as my lurid quill takes flight
Imbued into my skin
-tatted eyes on eyelids
The world burns so I will smother it
With my lightlessness
-there be a storm coming
