I heard "Love. The One You're With," by Stephen Stills, on Pandora this afternoon. I pondered how this message can apply to the love oneself.

Dear GW,
I thought I understand the meaning of the song but I never really listened to the words aside from the refrain. I thought I understood them to mean loving other people but reading your poem and authors note I had a flash thought that this could mean loving myself and my imperfections. Sure, I’m never going to look like this or that movie star. But this is what I am. It’s not bad. I should appreciate it before I don’t have it anymore. I like that message. I like the way it’s used in the poem. Rock on! Lovely write. H🌷

I have really odd dreams, like last night I dreamt I brought home an orange tabby and named it Arson. A while back I dreamt I was on this radio debate show and my opponent told me I was afraid. I said, I am afraid, but I'm not afraid to be afraid. lol Your senryu reminded me of that. Happy New Year brother.
