Becasue Naivety is Gone...
Am I still good;
Naive little angel.
When I'm hating you,
Or hating me-
When searing with jealousy,
Brimming to tears,
Unable to tell- to yell,
To speak the truth.
Am I still good?
The mind is soiled,
Aching heart, bleeding words-
Lost to the winds,
But all is mine- problems of me.
I'm still an angel?
This is growing up-
Learning these ugly feelings-
Claws that tear into the bone,
Lock in place and stay.
This is learning-
Knowledge, puberty, love,
Family, life- growing tough.
Whirling around in tornadoes,
Kaleidoscopes of lost angels,
Can I still be good?
Because naivety is gone...
Naive little angel.
When I'm hating you,
Or hating me-
When searing with jealousy,
Brimming to tears,
Unable to tell- to yell,
To speak the truth.
Am I still good?
The mind is soiled,
Aching heart, bleeding words-
Lost to the winds,
But all is mine- problems of me.
I'm still an angel?
This is growing up-
Learning these ugly feelings-
Claws that tear into the bone,
Lock in place and stay.
This is learning-
Knowledge, puberty, love,
Family, life- growing tough.
Whirling around in tornadoes,
Kaleidoscopes of lost angels,
Can I still be good?
Because naivety is gone...
