Invocation in Smoke

How to -

Sensualize
The
Smoke

In

The

Skies,

These

Beautiful billows
As
Graceful as

Willows,

As

My soul slows
Releasing

Ceremonial smoke
Into the

Smoke -

Wherever
It

Goes,

Taking my intent,
My

Lament,

As I invoke
What

I

Invoke.

Author's Note
Was dwelling the midnight hour.

There is this power plant I very much enjoy walking past.

There are these hypnotic puffs of smoke
that I enjoy to fixate upon, in the crisp cool of the night...

The lines came to me:

How to sensualize the smoke in the skies.

I didn't know where to take it...

Then the morning...

I was smoking a rolled cigarette of American Spirit Tobacco.

I only smoke once in a while.

The medicine men believed that prayers could be sent to Heaven
on the smoke of tobacco.

I have always like that.

And that's what I was doing...

I was thinking of people I care for,
and wanting for them...

The Treasures of Heaven.

and I suddenly knew where to take the piece.

Magic.
