Something Precious and Priceless
How can you know me?
When you are yet to know yourself.
How can you meet me?
When you are far from yourself.
How can you hear from me?
When you are deaf to yourself.
How can you see me?
When you are blind.
How can you speak to me?
When you are dumb.
Seeing my mortal self
You think you know me:
Dissecting
Analyzing....
And assuming.
I am more than the masquerade
You see standing before you
Speaking and listening to you;
I am more than the mask
Smiling and laughing with you.
I am something
You are yet to know
Or yet to accept as reality
In this existence.
Something precious and priceless
Of an inestimable value
Of a nature that cannot be destroyed
Of a substance that is subtle and refined.
I am the traveller
Experiencing life in your world of time and space;
I am the deathless one
Wearing a garment of mortality;
I am that I am
Beyond description and duality.
