Shorts from the Bar @ The Outlook Hotel

And this is why….

From the cradle
To the nightclub,
Lack of human touch
Must make it hard
To write about intimate love.

Young Child, Sea-Walking at Midnight

Moon’s perfect vowel
Lightly lisps the tongue of sands,
Haberdashery of seaweeds
Pour dreams of wonderment
Into her eyes, clothed wide.

Slats of slate rain keep her awake,
An ocean pillow charts the cold night.
