Dividing the black and the white
Making us hate each other
Explaining what's wrong and what's right

When in reality, we are similar
We all got a lot of issues
Personal shit we can't explain
We all have our miscues

You are either red or blue
Told that you are racist or crazy
That you either love others
And that your mind is getting hazy

Grouping one into all
Trying to scare us into hatred
Giving all the evil news
And what they give is so sacred

All we see is politics
Hard to find the truth from the lies
So damn corrupted
They don't care of our lives

Its all about proving that one side is correct
That the other is the devil
So lost in endless prejudice
That we can't find the deeper level

People fighting for rights
But don't know what they really fighting for
Some people just say shit
With no fight in the war

Hoping for equality
But afraid to compromise
Wanting everything for you
But not really knowing why

Its so complicated
That its almost impossible to get along
So many people just want to hate
While some just want to belong

So I ask what is next
For society as a whole
Will we find a little peace
Where will we actually go
