hypertension
I always peeled all the scabs
off
Soon as the blood
dried.
Replacing parts of myself as I
slept
Seemed to be the best of it
Now there's scars
all over me
and
I haven't the faintest
and
my head always hurts
and
my chest never stops
aching
My heart
races
with
worrisome pacing
And the doctor asks
If I've been doing
cocaine
and I say
"No I'm just always panicking"
I've been
praying
the hate
away
I've been thinking
a lot less
lately
off
Soon as the blood
dried.
Replacing parts of myself as I
slept
Seemed to be the best of it
Now there's scars
all over me
and
I haven't the faintest
and
my head always hurts
and
my chest never stops
aching
My heart
races
with
worrisome pacing
And the doctor asks
If I've been doing
cocaine
and I say
"No I'm just always panicking"
I've been
praying
the hate
away
I've been thinking
a lot less
lately
