Love to
I'd love to love to know you
But you'd love to love to just view
As I crumble beneath myself
And I'd love to love to show you
But you'd love to love to just hear
That I'm again just obscured
Days, weeks, clicking on a year
I'm bugged by what I said
Seconds, minutes, thinking coming near
Can't get rid of what I embedded
All these moments striking the clock slower
I can't distract if I'm reminded over every shoulder
Crashed in the face with the wind
And I don't like what I see
Like the sun hitting the winter snow
You'll disappear eventually
And I'll sit here waiting hopefully
At another chance to let you know
If I could I'd set it back
If I could I'd lay it down
But this is reality and my luck runs low
So I'll put up a mile away from you
Until I see it fit to step through again
I'd love to love to know you
But you'd love to love to just view
As I crumble beneath myself
And I'd love to love to show you
But you'd love to love to just hear
That I'm again just obscured
But I'll always find myself back at square one with you
But you'd love to love to just view
As I crumble beneath myself
And I'd love to love to show you
But you'd love to love to just hear
That I'm again just obscured
Days, weeks, clicking on a year
I'm bugged by what I said
Seconds, minutes, thinking coming near
Can't get rid of what I embedded
All these moments striking the clock slower
I can't distract if I'm reminded over every shoulder
Crashed in the face with the wind
And I don't like what I see
Like the sun hitting the winter snow
You'll disappear eventually
And I'll sit here waiting hopefully
At another chance to let you know
If I could I'd set it back
If I could I'd lay it down
But this is reality and my luck runs low
So I'll put up a mile away from you
Until I see it fit to step through again
I'd love to love to know you
But you'd love to love to just view
As I crumble beneath myself
And I'd love to love to show you
But you'd love to love to just hear
That I'm again just obscured
But I'll always find myself back at square one with you
