All Things Fly, Then Gravity Happens.

She was decked out in red,
from white skin in the sun.
My girl always rebelled,
just because it was fun.

I could tell you everything,
anything she ever did.
But after you know anything,
not everything stays hid.

Her wrists were a mess,
and I wiped her mascara tears...
Tried so hard to help,
I tried for 3 years.

She was my bestfriend,
my counselor, my heart.
But we all know; anything
good gets ripped apart.

So natually one Wednesday,
I came to see my life.
And my girl, all my family,
had gone with just one night.

Now, I'll admit I cried.
But I had to show some strength,
because as long as she was better off...
then I would go the extra length.

You know, they never
did return that blade.
I really wish they had,
because on it were our names.
