Everything desirable  
or deemed necessary  
pours from an abundance
often referred to as God
greeting you in the flowing
stream your daily existence is
 
until convinced otherwise
---there is not enough  
food on the table
shelter from the elements
pure oxygen for breathing
time to accomplish goals
money in any pocket
physical health
companionship
purpose to Life
 
Love to go around
 
And when this happens
misery is experienced
in all of its glorious  
abundance as well'ed
 
While forty years endured
as you discover, understand  
and embrace this is a minor
dis'tribulation of sorts
posing discomforts
 
imagine the imports
another forty years
has in store for you
 
Or perhaps even eighty
 
Why not?  
 
should be  
the most important question
in an individual's lexicon
as the ocean of possibilities
is as vast as our Universe
