Twas the Eve before Thanksgiving.....

Twas the eve before Thanksgiving,  
and all through the kitchen
the knives have been sharpened
This chef was certainly smitten!
 
Preparing a feast of this size
always takes planning and care
with hopes theres family and friends with whom to share
 
The whiskeys neat and the turkey disgusting
Its never been my favorite
too gamey and not very lusting
 
Id rather sneak off with the cooking twine
so we can get a quickie in, from behind
no will even notice that were gone
 
We return to this fabulous feast
with smiles from ear to ear
I so cant wait to host Christmas this year!
