Guiding light

The stars pulse          
to the rhythm of my heart            
the tides ebb and flow            
with the roaring of my blood            
life now thrown to the winds of fate            
I watch creation unfolding            
hoping  I am strong enough            
praying that I am pure enough            
to hold heaven in my soul            
and give myself to the world            
opening my arms to the stars            
I find a universe inside            
as my spirit turns inside out            
and explodes like the sun            
to finally set me free            
that I might travel the heavens            
as a guiding light of love
