I found myself awaken at times

to nightmares

feeling like i never left

for the longest

I've said to myself

this maybe the worst

punishment imaginable

to be so close to you

encourage you when you fall

wake up to you moving around at six am again

i cant lie i wonder what it be like to sooth

i've vented even cried

felt depressed at times also had no answers

to questions i ask

me becoming successful at this new career

being put on a higher pedestal
