Inspiration
Tethers us
Along a winding
Stream,
And yet
It keeps us
Full alert
For morsels
On the beam.
Then once
In a while
A meteor
Comes shooting
Through the sky,
And everything
I've dreamt about
Seems here
Within my eye.
