the dawn

half light strokes the gentleness of her cheek
and I'm awoken
to the dawning
of a blushing bloom

a fresh scent in vintage proportion
dripping effortlessly
off the silk of day
rubbing deep against my sky

senses heighten to touch
inviting the crisp air
to caress the beauty
cradled within her bosom

accepted
offerings placed at the feet
consumed
in one another
