Godzilla vs Japan
The bald fisherman in his little boat has his hood blown back as the moist winds lap warmly around him making him shake with excitement and trepidation.
He knows something big is coming.
Below his craft, digital beasts stir in the darkness and the dampness trying to get the tectonic plates to shift so the summoning can occur.
The wet hole in which they forage starts to quiver; tremble as a tremor sends the first shockwave careering towards the main land.
The conjouring is complete.
They have called forth Godzilla.
For half an hour or more Godzilla terrorises Japan causing screams from the mainland until He calls upon the last of his powers.
With an almighty roar he summons the tsunami.
Japan is flooded with salty waters from the deep; unseen beasts swimming in a new environment.
The roaring and the tremors continue for a while as Godzilla continues to thrash around the mainland.
Japan lies broken; sodden; trembling; yet somehow relieved.
There have been no casualties.
The bald man in his fishing boat pulls the torn hood of his sou'wester back up and smiles as Godzilla retreats.
Japan will always recover and will always embrace warmly the natural order of things as they come.
The clean up can begin.
