Evolving beyond all time

Gaze out into the distance
see me just searching..
The stars are on my mind,
I’m feeling shapeless..
and in the chasms of my mind
 I sense you lurking,
you just lead me but don’t deceive,
I’m left weightless..

I’ve trekked through each timeline
a thousand times,
I saw no end in sight or signs of sureness..
It’s not known just when we’ll break through
but you’ll see me
I’ll feel you..
with our essence evolving,
essence evolving
evolving beyond all time..

We can leave behind what’s lost but
always remember
the darkness that had drowned us out..
recently we declared there’d be no surrender
to this entity that poisons us with doubt.
There’s no one simple statement to sum up
who we are and what we have survived,
shall we bare and share these scars..
break free from behind these bars..
Let the essence keep evolving

I carried a fearful heart
so distant and aimless,
thought it was my soul I was protecting all along,
little did I know then, this life’s not painless..
never would I admit I wasn’t that strong.
I saw madness in our eyes
and knew we were losing,
fading further from destiny
a move we were choosing..
It was a choice to conjure change
so don’t turn away and leave us estranged..
with this essence still evolving,
this essence evolving
evolving beyond all time..

Now in this moment I can see through the
dark delusions,
it was at my lowest point in existence
where I reclaimed my mind.
I didn’t wanna be a drifter
wandering with no direction,
I didn’t wanna wish for a life I could’ve had
if I only tried..
Through each timeline
I’m sure I will remember,
those ‘lone empty nights
that stole my love and light..
Wasn’t searching for what was found,
a vision so profound
of this essence evolving
an essence evolving
evolving beyond all time..

I left my lessons, painted my perceptions
 on each page.
I rambled but shared my mystery..
and through the pen
I released my rage
ceased from locking myself in a mental cage..
With or without us
I’ll be in peace
peace in a realm where it seems so rare..
but we’ll see the timeless truth,
it’s in our hands, the soul and mind are proof
of this essence evolving
