I'm Patient
It would be nice to make you mine.
I won’t hold my breath.
There were a few hints that let me know
You were testing me.
You wanted to see just how far
I would go for you
Even if it wasn’t intentional.
You tested just how I would respond
By willfully disobeying my orders.
You never did learn any lessons
Because you decided from that moment
You were in control.
So you want control?
You want to lead?
You want to call the shots?
Bat your eyes
And pull on my heartstrings
Until you get want you want?
Or maybe you will just say,”No,”
when I specifically order you.
I do have ways
To handle that.
But you may never know
Until you are mine.
I’m a patient man
I won’t hold my breath.
I won’t hold my breath.
There were a few hints that let me know
You were testing me.
You wanted to see just how far
I would go for you
Even if it wasn’t intentional.
You tested just how I would respond
By willfully disobeying my orders.
You never did learn any lessons
Because you decided from that moment
You were in control.
So you want control?
You want to lead?
You want to call the shots?
Bat your eyes
And pull on my heartstrings
Until you get want you want?
Or maybe you will just say,”No,”
when I specifically order you.
I do have ways
To handle that.
But you may never know
Until you are mine.
I’m a patient man
I won’t hold my breath.
