Me
My heart is wide and true,
Like a star looking at you.
My mind is never ending,
Like a night sky while the sun is descending.
I am limitless and unbound,
Something unique, yet to be found.
My age is disregarded,
After all, it's just a number, who needs it?
I am vast, I am strong,
I am like a nightingale and her song.
I don't even have to try,
For I am me, as endless as the sky.
So I'll just work at me, because I am me,
And being me comes naturally.

commented on another poem about your age, while it's not any of my business...you still seem rather inexperienced. I don't mean this as an insult or anything...it adds character to your poetry. An innocence and positive side that I'd had yet to encounter on this site until I started reading your material. While self poetry is rarely hopeful, I see hope in your writing, more than I do the darkness. It shines some light into my dim world. Thanks! Well done! Your perspective says it all! :) Very enjoyable!

I am still in High School, it's probably why. ^^; I'm not even 17 yet, ha ha.
But thanks, I like when people comment on my age a bit because normally they are like, 'Wow you write well for a 16 year old!' So it just makes me feel better. :)
