Babylon
'i want to live"
he whispered
in her ear.
it was the dance of death,
the mob was near.
he was a working-class stiff,
type, type and trained idiots;
he just wanted to read and
fuck cute ladies.
he took a chance on
hottie that read Shakespeare;
she was a nut though and
his adventures began.
chance and fate,
he hated scars- he assumed to much
she wasn't for him;
he went to find the horse but
barely escaped with his hair;
had no money so he helped this lad.
up, up to get the key, he was thought to
be a crook, and
was so chased;
one strange friend turned to two-
he was basically fucked, and
the mob was insane.
he wanted to live, the third friend,
a charm- he was wrapped by tension
and paper mache;
stolen and brought (god thank you)
back to Babylon.
no worries, no thrill, he was home.
