I Don’t
You know
She had all these looks
Depending on the light
And time of day
How she wore her hair
The states we were in
Sometimes it was like Sylvia Plath
When she was younger
Sometimes it was like Deborah Harry
When she was younger too
At times it was like Joni Mitchell
At times like Jessica Rabbit too
But she was always her
Cuter than fuck I’d say
Totally original
In her own girly way
Had me wrapped round her finger
Had me acting all gay
You know
She sure had something
Something mysterious about her
Like an aura
Like white magic
Maybe even a halo
She sure was something
With all those looks
And all that easy attitude
Like life was a gift
And our job was to unwrap it
Slow and fast and I just don’t know
She had all these looks
Depending on the light
And time of day
How she wore her hair
The states we were in
Sometimes it was like Sylvia Plath
When she was younger
Sometimes it was like Deborah Harry
When she was younger too
At times it was like Joni Mitchell
At times like Jessica Rabbit too
But she was always her
Cuter than fuck I’d say
Totally original
In her own girly way
Had me wrapped round her finger
Had me acting all gay
You know
She sure had something
Something mysterious about her
Like an aura
Like white magic
Maybe even a halo
She sure was something
With all those looks
And all that easy attitude
Like life was a gift
And our job was to unwrap it
Slow and fast and I just don’t know
