Yet it is not Ironic! It is unpleasant; far too apologetic and prostrating itself to the point where its jelly backbone pops out.

Isn't it! So cotton-sweet while it chokes and drowns you; like an annoying yappy dopey dog that you cannot bear to shoot even though its kept you up for nights.

its like a white line that beg erasing, or a brat you feel like slapping: that sort of unpleasant. Yes: maybe a dopey yappy dog too.

Depends on how 'noble' and egotistical you're feeling; greater feeling makes greater scorn. To the 'great' this poem does nothing but grate on their senses.
