in these hands
is a heart
tied up with bruises
i offer it
willingly
knowing it’s pain
night reverberate
it’s ripple of love
is so much stronger
for you
in the scheme
of gods and men
it may seem
such a solitary drip
in an ocean of hearts
but it’s mine
if you saw
it’s potential to love
you Might accept
it’s bruised state
