Limitless
it’s up to you to take control
when the world tries to drown your voice
stand tall and tell them “hell no!”
too many painful thoughts
mixed with too many painful memories
but there is more to this world
don’t ever give up
when all seems dark
time to bring in the light
I forced myself out of the corner
step by step I relearned to walk
and as I speak, I know you’re listening
not to my sorrow, but to my heart
looking back at my life, I see
I needed to love me
if I couldn’t learn that
then what hope was there?
you will mess up a thousand times
but it’s never too late to start a new
it's time to stand tall and prove a point
this world can be your friend
no need to make it your enemy
